Stories of Transformation from Our Schools—and a Special Campaign Launch You Won’t Want to Miss

At the Glory Education Center in South Asia, every student carries a story. Many arrive as refugees fleeing war, poverty, and persecution. But within these stories, God is writing something new—hope, identity, and purpose in Christ.

For our friend C., stepping into GEC was not just an educational choice. It became the moment her entire life changed.

Below is her testimony, in her own words:

“My name is C., and I am from Chin State, Myanmar. I grew up in a Buddhist family, and because of the civil war in Myanmar, I had to leave my home and come to India with our community leaders.

After arriving in India, I was introduced to Glory Education Centre (GEC). I joined to improve my English, but something even more meaningful happened—I came to know that Jesus is God, and I accepted Him as my Lord and Savior.

At GEC, I have not only learned English but also found hope, love, and purpose in Christ. I thank God for bringing me here, and I am also very grateful to you for making this possible. Your support has truly changed my life. May God bless you richly!"

- With love and gratitude,C.”

Stories like C.’s are happening across both of our discipleship schools in South Asia and Myanmar. Young men and women—many from unreached ethnic groups—are being trained in Scripture, equipped in discipleship, and sent to carry the gospel into villages where the name of Jesus has never been heard.

Here is a snapshot of the work happening today:

In South Asia, 44 students and 9 staff, most of them refugees, are immersed daily in the Word of God. They are learning how to teach Scripture, pray for the sick, share the gospel, and build healthy church communities. Their desire is not simply to be educated but to return to their villages across the border and plant churches where none exist.

In Myanmar, 17 students and 5 staff are continuing their training in the midst of civil war. They represent six ethnic groups—Burmese, Chinese, Moken, Karen, Shan, and Rachine—each determined to bring the hope of Christ back to their families and tribes. Despite instability, they press forward with courage, preparing for ministry even when resources are limited and travel is dangerous.

Together, these schools are united in one vision: to equip disciples who will bring the gospel into places still untouched by it.

The Challenge Before Us

As students are being trained and lives are being transformed, both schools face the same obstacle: transportation.Without reliable vehicles, travel becomes unsafe, food and supplies are difficult to move, and entire villages remain unreachable simply because our teams cannot get to them.

In these regions, a vehicle is not a convenience—it is essential for ministry and safety.

Wheels for the Gospel: Our New Campaign

We are launching a special campaign to raise $50,000 to provide one vehicle for each school.

These vehicles will serve as lifelines—allowing students and staff to reach remote mountain villages, deliver supplies, transport students safely, and support long-term church-planting efforts.

What Your Gift Makes Possible

Your support will directly strengthen the reach and sustainability of both schools. Through your giving:

You will equip two discipleship schools with safe, reliable transportation, allowing staff and students to travel long distances for ministry, outreach, and practical needs without the dangers of walking or riding unsafe motorbikes.

You will enable missionaries to reach remote, unreached villages—places previously cut off by distance, terrain, or conflict—creating new opportunities for evangelism, church planting, and discipleship.

You will provide safe travel for students, staff, food, and supplies, ensuring that both daily life and ministry can happen effectively, even in unstable or rural areas.

You will strengthen long-term church-planting efforts, giving our teams the ability to visit new believers, support local leaders, and build consistent relationships within communities far from main roads or cities.

Every gift becomes multiplied through the footsteps—and now miles—of those carrying the gospel.

Pray. Give. Share.

Our first ask is prayer—please join us in asking God to provide the full $50,000 needed. Our second ask is giving—would you prayerfully consider investing in this campaign? And finally, would you share this need with others who might want to join the mission?

Because of You…

Every testimony like C.’s is evidence that God is moving—and that your partnership is making a real, lasting impact. Thank you for investing in the next generation of leaders and helping bring the gospel to villages that have never heard the name of Jesus.

With gratitude, Carissa Taylor & the Glory Project team
