Mission Collaboration

Missions exists so the kingdom of God will grow. God loves the world and desires everyone to come to saving faith in Jesus Christ (1 Tim. 2:4). It is now our task to share the good news of salvation to every person on planet earth. But, it is not easy taking the gospel to unreached areas and people groups. There are multiple obstacles to overcome, but God specializes in making a way there seems to be no other way. He opens doors, destroys strongholds, answers prayers, and more making a way for the gospel to advance in the world.

One of the ways I love seeing God's kingdom grow is when different mission agencies, churches, and groups collaborate together on mission. Glory Project partners with Operation Christmas Child, Filters of Hope, Gateway Seminary, Biolite, School to the Nations, and other mission organizations who like us, want to see churches in every village. God loves when His people come together especially with we are obeying His command to make disciples of all nations. So when you go on your next mission trip, remember it is not about building up your empire, your profile, or your name. It's about lifting high the name of Jesus!

The Apostle Paul says in 1 Corinthians 3:4-6,  "For when one says, “I follow Paul,” and another, “I follow Apollos,” are you not being merely human? What then is Apollos? What is Paul? Servants through whom you believed, as the Lord assigned to each. I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth." Mission collaboration is not a trend. It is the heartbeat of God for reaching the unreached. Churches, organizations, and Christ-followers everywhere must continue to work together so God can grow His kingdom. Do not be concerned about building your brand or making a name for yourself. Give all the glory to God, point people to Jesus, and become a servant of God who is found faithful. Who are you collaborating with today?
